MONTAG KILLS

This is an explanation of my own to why Montag turned the flamethrower on Beatty .

Montag kills Beatty because Beatty knows about his stash of books that are hidden and takes Montag to his own house to burn it , he makes Montag burn his own house and then mentions about Faber most likely in a threatening way , also Beatty gives him a flamethrower that was used to burn the house but as Monatg is holding the flamethrower he switches it over to Beatty and then burns him to his death.
